Well we joined the ranks of redneckdom tonight. We went to the race track to watch the stock car races. It is a dirt track and about as Southern as you can get. Jack of course being the ultimate race car fan these days was enthralled. He was hooping and hollering like a pro. It is official, we are now raising out little redneck. The three of us would each pick a car before each of the races started as our pick for the winner. That made it fun to root for somebody and actually Jack was pretty good at picking the winner.
We stayed for a couple of hours and left feeling filthy, but it was a fun family night for the three of us. It seems like we don't get a whole lot of family days these days and it was nice to go out just the three of us.
And I just wanted to do a shout out to Grammy A and Grammy C for a Happy Mother's Day. And any and all other Mother's out there hoping ya'll have a Great Mother's Day.
