Whoever said that cold and cough medicine doesn't work in children under 6, should come to my house to witness the miraculous transformation in my child. This morning at 4 am, he was coughing and pretty much miserable. However, after giving him children's Vicks (and a dosage of eye drops for the pink eye), he is now running back and forth in my house like a caged animal, proclaiming that he is "not sick anymore Mom"! All this energy and I can't take him anywhere because he is contagious and since I think I got about 3 hours of sleep, I now feel like crud. Not fair!
I think we just maybe going to that soccer game this afternoon after all to get rid of this energy!
