Today it was Jim's turn to deal with the kids while I went to work. It was actually fun to get up this morning and not have to worry about getting Jack up and dressed. I didn't have to worry about a toddler destroying my bathroom and bedroom while I got dressed. I didn't have to drive another 40 miles out of my way to take Laura to school. I got to work this morning before 8:00 am, not my usual 8:30-9:00. It felt so liberating!
Unfortunately, I do feel a sore throat coming on so, yep, I probably picked up Jack's strep throat. Yay!
