Two more proofs that Jack is a growing boy. I had to buy size 6 diapers the other day because his size 5s were just getting too snug and causing those red stretch marks on his belly. The boy needs to learn how to use the potty soon cause I am not sure there is a size 7! We will commence potty training as soon as we get back from our vacation in July.
The other proof - we had to buy another car seat for the boy. We bought him the Eddie Bauer Summit High Back which can go to 100 lbs. His current Britax Roundabout goes to 40 lbs and when we got it back when Jack was 6 months old, I thought that it would be a LONG time before he outgrew it. Well it has been over a year and a half, but it sure doesn't seem like it. He is only 32lbs right now, but if he grows another inch, his head will be above the back of the Britax. So yesterday when we were at the mall NOT spending money, (I told Jim as we were walking in, there would be NO spending that day) we happened to see the very car seat that I was looking at in Target (119.99 at Target) on sale at Sears for $94.99. So our day of no spending turned into spending a hundred bucks for a car seat that we saved $25 on.
So yep he is a big kid now with big boy bed, big boy diapers, and big boy car seat. When did that happen?
